Local Area Description

The Costa Blanca is located on the Eastern coast of the Spanish mainland. The glorious sandy beaches framing this famous coastline and an average temperature of 22 degrees ensure that the Costa Blanca is a wonderous place to visit.

The rugged cliffs and beautiful countryside provide an ideal location for nature lovers and is the ideal place for climbers, ramblers, and cyclists. The close proximity of world famous golf courses ensures the Costa Blanca is a paradise for golfers.

Various theme parks and entertainment can be found only a short drive away ensuring El Caserio del Rio is a perfect place to visit

 

Jalon Valley

El Caserio del rio is located on the outskirts of Murla. This quaint village has various restaurants, bars and provides an insight into the spanish lifestyle. Numerous villages can be found surrounding El Caserio del Rio including the famed Jalon valley renowned for its wine making. Supermarkets including English products are available from the numerous Supermarkets in the area.

Alicante or Valencia Airport is approx 1 hour 15 mins from El Caserio del Rio

Most budget airlines fly to both airports from most UK airports.

Property Description

El Caserío del Rio is a magnificent rural retreat located at the foot of spectacular mountainous scenery and is at present an undiscovered gem of the Costa Blanca, but not for long. You could quite literally be in another world here in this peaceful, lush valley carpeted with orange, almond and olive trees.

All 7 bedrooms and 2 apartments are extremely well furnished with en-suites with shower rooms, WC and vanity units and most have air-conditioning with heating. Three of the bedrooms boast beautiful four poster beds. One bedroom can be used as a family room and consists of a 4 poster bed leading to an adjoining room with twin beds. One bedroom has a double bed and one room has twin beds. All towels and bed linen are provided. All bedrooms offer a unique breathtaking mountain view. .

The large swimming pool is private to visitors with lavish sun loungers available. There is a large B.B.Q available for visitors use and a small tiki style bar complete with fridge and freezer that overlooks the poolside. There are various terraces each offering a unique breathtaking view of the countryside. A large pergola overlooks the pool and offers stunning views of the valley making it an ideal shaded place to retrieve to during the heat of the day. The villa is within 30 mins drive of five beach resorts, Calpe, Moraira, Javea, Denia and Oliva.

 The entrance hall of the main house with wooden feature in lobby leads to full private bar. A breakfast room with stunning views leads to a small second lounge with 2 leather sofas, a flat screen TV, games console and various novels complete with two downstairs toilets.
The large first lounge consists of 3 leather sofas, a large Ernest Hemmingway exclusive dining table that seats 14, and a large flatscreen tv. The main kitchen is a large professional stainless steel kitchen including gashob, large oven, 2 plancher plates, 2 fryers, 3 fridges, plate walmer, 3 microwaves, dishwasher. tea and cofffee making facilities. The untility room offers a washing machine, ironing board and iron,secure storage complete with washing line available.

There are several fabulous terraces dotted around this impressive rural retreat where you can sit and enjoy the scenery. For example, there is the very pretty Well Terrace named after the well which is still operating and which overlooks the Jalón River, (though water is scarce in the summer months) country roads, tracks and a mile-long creek. There is a very unusual and aptly named Street Terrace with traditional street lamps and tastefully decorated tables and chairs in the centre. There is also a naya which extends to a very exotic looking pergola with a vista over the swimming pool. Special mention has to be made of the cute Tiki bar at the far end of the pool which looks most inviting indeed complete with large B.B.Q. fridge and freezer. All of these terraces
boast so many different beautiful views, it would be hard to judge which one is the most stunning.

A large car park ensures ample parking with a full tarmac road leading to the property. El Caserio del Rio is on the outskirts of the beautiful village of Murla.

A private chef can be provided at an extra charge.
Towels and linen are included with no extra charges. Separate towels are provided for sunbed use. Cleaning and fresh linen are provided once a week.
Changover days are mainly Saturdays however this can be flexible. Arrival times are 4pm and departure is 10am.
