Local Area Description
Javea is between Alicante and Valencia and both airports are approx 70 km away. It is very special and has an amazing coastline and two main beaches Arenal which is very sandy and great for families and very safe for children in the summer months there are life guards who are constantly watching the area and will display ther relevant flags depending on the sea conitions etc. The port beach is very pebley and tends to be a little bit quieter. Both area have platforms that you can swim to ter. There are also lots of activities nearby such as hiring ski jets or a boat or scuba diving courses as well as sailing courses. Also nearby are tennis,golf ,horse riding clubs you can also go to denia where you can take a ferry to Ibiza or Majorca, they also have local glass bottom boat trips from Denia to Javea (return). There are lots of lovely areas to explore such as Moraira(5 km), Calpe Benidorm(25 km) as well as Valencia and Alicante. Benidorm also has lots of theme parks and Aqualanda(water park) is very popular in the summer months. There are also plenty of markets nearby re Javea,Beniatchel,Calpe as well as rastro type markets which are similar to are antique/boot fair markets. In the summer months there are lots of Fiestas such as the moors and christians which if you havent seen is well worth going to.
