Local Area Description

Playa honda has a pretty, long stretch of unspoilt, sandy beach,  beach bars, coffee shops, local and international restaurants, you can enjoy fabulous seafood, fresh fruit, meats and cheeses at very reasonable prices. Boats, canoes, pedaloes etc can be hired. Other watersports are available too on the Mar Menor sea. 

The famous golf club and resort of La Manga is just a very short drive away. 

The apartment is just a nice cycle ride or a few minutes drive from the beautiful Calblanque National Park which borders the Mediterranean Sea. Here you will find white sandy beaches and dunes alongside rocky coves.

Also nearby are the coastal towns of Cabo de Palos and Los Belones. Both places have interesting Spanish markets once a week where you can buy, along with your fresh fruit and veg, anything from shoes and handbags to pictures and jewellery. Great restaurants can be found here too.

 

The ancient cities of Cartegena and Murcia are just a short drive away too. 


 

Property Description

This modern air-conditioned apartment sleeps 4-6 people. It has a balcony from which you can see lovely views of the Mar Menor sea, the La Manga Strip and the beach. Located on the 5th floor, it has lift access and is suitable for wheelchair users.

Ideal for family holidays as the secured complex has shared indoor and outdoor pools, gym, sauna, jacuzzi and children's play area.

Perfect for golfers too as it is very close to three 18-hole championship golf courses, one of them being the famous La Manga Golf Club and complex.

It takes just 2 minutes to walk to the nearby sandy beach, with it's safe bathing and many water sports.

Whilst the apartment has its own private terrace, which is perfect for watching the sun set whilst enjoying a glass of the local wine, it also has access to a shared roof terrace too for more expansive views and for a spot of extreme sun bathing!

The complex has private underground secured parking.

A beach bar, international and local restaurants are within walking distance of the apartment. Along with a local supermarket and pharmacy.

Inside the well equipped apartment, you will find the kitchen that includes everything that you need for a self-catering holiday including a picnic set for taking the short distance to the beach.

The kitchen can be separated from the living room or opened up to provide a much larger space. The spacious air-conditioned living room has table, chairs, a large sofa bed, satellite TV and DVD player. This in turn leads onto the very large balcony that has 2 sets of patio furniture and loungers.

The main bedroom has view over the complex and the sea beyond, contains a double bed and excellent storage space. The second bedroom has views to the hills behind and contains 2 single beds. Also has excellent storage space. The large bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, bidet and toilet.

The apartment will be cleaned prior to your arrival and on your departure. This is included in the price, as are towels and linen.
